You’re My Jam – Honey Bee

Hello friends and happy Tuesday!! I love to look at my sentiment stamps (Honey Bee has many fabulous ones) and come up with different ways to use them, other than the way in which they were intended. Although the “You’re My Jam” sentiment is included in the Rockstar Sentiments stamp set and is intended for use with music themed projects, I thought it paired perfectly with the Mason Jar Card Honey Cuts to create a jar of jam!!

I LOVE the way it turned out!!!

I began by die-cutting the jar components from red & black cardstock and red gingham patterned paper with the Mason Jar Card Honey Cuts and adhering them all together. The hearts were die-cut from white cardstock and red gingham patterned paper using the Stacking Hearts and Scallop Hearts Honey Cuts. For the greeting, “sweet” was die-cut from red, black and white cardstock using the Sweet Dies. They were stacked and adhered together, then adhered across the hearts with foam adhesive. “You’re My Jam”, from Rockstar Sentiments, and “Heart”, from the Sweet stamp set, were white heat embossed onto black cardstock. “You’re My Jam” was die-cut using the Rockstar Sentiment Honey Cuts and “Heart” was cut into a strip using the My Sweet Petunia Cut-Align and a craft knife. They were both adhered as shown with foam tape. A few white hearts, from the Sweethearts Clay Hearts Mix, complete the card.
