Trinity Stamps January Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday and welcome to the Trinity Stamps Crafty Hugs Blog Hop!! There is so much good stuff in this release…from florals to monsters, there’s literally something for everyone!!

If you arrived here from Arjita Singh’s YouTube Channel, you’re on the right track!! You can also find the complete list of stops on the Trinity Blog.

I have two projects to share with you today, so let’s get started!!

This first project will be perfect for all of your crafty friends!!

I stamped the craft supply filled heart from A Crafter’s Heart onto Bristol with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink and did some no-line coloring with Zigs and a blender brush. I sprayed the negative area of one of the Layered Heart Stencils with a bit of Pixie Spray, adhered it over the heart and blended Distress Oxides around the outside. I used Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. Before removing the mask, I splattered the panel with water and picked up the excess with a paper towel.

I trimmed the panel slightly and added it to black cardstock. The greeting, also from A Crafter’s Heart, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, trimmed and fussy cut before popping it up with foam adhesive.

You know if there’s a floral in the release, that I am going to use it…ha!! I am in LOVE with the Love You Bunches stamp set!!!

I decided to do some more no-line watercoloring with my Zigs. I stamped the bouquet onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with Fadeout Ink, watercolored it with Zigs, then added details with colored pencils. I used the Coordinating Die to cut out the floral spray and set it aside to work on my background.

For the background, I ink-blended Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks onto another panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I splattered it with water and absorbed the excess with a paper towel. Diluted white gouache was also splattered over the panel. Once it was dry, I trimmed a bit from each side so a sliver of my white cardbase would show.

I popped up the floral die-cut with foam adhesive on the ink-blended background. For the greeting, I white heat embossed “hello”, also from the Love You Bunches stamp set, onto black cardstock and cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I absolutely love when there is a die to cut around the sentiment!! The “hello” die-cut was popped up with more foam tape. The Disco Ball Confetti Mix was the perfect accent to add a little shine to the card! The final step was to add some dots to the centers of the flowers with a white gel pen. I love how the background matches the florals, yet it just pops off of the page!!

OK…your next stop on the hop is my fabulous and super-talented friend, Dani Bondurant!!!

Be sure to comment along the way for a chance to win one of three prizes!! There are two $15 and one $25 gift certificates up for grabs!! To be eligible, hoppers must comment on all stops. Comments are due by 2/7/20 at 11:59 PM PST. Winner will be announced on the Trinity Blog on 2/10.

Thanks so much for hopping along with us today!! All of the new products are available in the Trinity Shop today!! See you soon!!!
