Welcome to the Blog Hop for The Ton’s Summer 2017 Release!!! This is so exciting!! Have you enjoyed all the new stamps & dies from this release? Today we have so many wonderful creations from the design team and guest designers & ton’s (see what I did there?!) of prizes to win!!!

You should have arrived here from the fabulous Lydia Fiedler. Complete hop list at the end of this post. Let’s get this party started!!For this card, I stamped the Peony Terrace Cling Background with Vanilla Frosted Cupcake ink and used Copic markers to color the flowers and leaves. I traced the bottom with a lid from a bowl and cut that and a pink mat for the panel. How fun is this Sunnies set? I stamped it with Caviar ink and also colored with Copics. I used the Sunnies Coordinating Dies to die cut the image, then cut the inside of the glasses with an exacto knife. I adhered acetate and fun foam under the glasses…creating a shaker with Blue Lagoon Couture Mix. The sentiment is also from the Sunnies set…it was stamped with Hollywood Star and Caviar ink. I used Wink of Stella Clear Pen over the pink flowers for a little more sparkle. Glass Slipper Round Confetti Mix was used to accent the sentiment. I had a ball making this card…so much fun!!!

I had to color the Anemone Garden Cling Background stamp again,,,I told you I wanted to color it in ALL THE COLORS!!

I started by using Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I colored this beautiful image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in vibrant blues and greens. I embossed the sentiment from Fresh Cut Anemones Outline onto a strip of vellum with gold embossing powder also. I then adhered the vellum strip to the panel, using liquid adhesive behind parts of the sentiment. The watercolored panel was die-cut with the Double Stitched Rectangle Die (Large). A piece of Gold Glitter Tape was placed along the bottom of the vellum to help in adhesion. Pale Gold Nuvo Drops were used in the center of the flowers, with gold glitter added for more bling.

I have one more card to share. You know I LOVE the florals and Effie does such a great job with them!! I seriously could not stop creating with this release!!!

For this card, I started by heat embossing the images from Large Peony 4 & Large Peony 5 with Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I colored the flowers and leaves with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut with Large Peony 4 & Large Peony 5 Coordinating Dies.  These peonies are such fun to color!! I heat embossed the Peony Crush Cling Background with clear embossing powder onto a piece of peach cardstock. I cut a circle in the upper right corner and created a shaker with Summer Soiree, Spring Fawn, Guava Sparkle & Coral Necklace Couture Mixes. I adhered the leaves flat onto the background panel and popped the peony up with some foam adhesive. The banner is from Basic Banners and sentiment from Penned Sentiments, both also heat embossed with Rose Gold Embossing Powder. The Basic Banners Coordinating Die was used to die-cut the banner and it was placed over the peony. I have a friend getting married in a couple of weeks and I think she will be getting this card!!

Whew!! What a week!! Hope you enjoyed all the projects this week…thanks for hanging out with me!! I hope I have brought a little inspiration to your world!! Do you have a favorite from the release?? I would love to know!!

  13. There are so many things I love about your first card. Because I wear glasses, I’m always on the look for a stamp set that has glasses and that there is a sample of how they use them in the card. I love this, thank you, blog hop for bringing me here.
