Hello and welcome to The Ton’s Spring Release Blog Hop!!
The Ton is releasing 11 new stamps to celebrate our Spring 2020 Release! We have a mixed collection of grouped layered stamps, coloring outline stamps and a variety of sentiment, alphas and number stamps for this release! (All stamps are available to ship now (and the Floral Bits Die). All the other dies (Rose of Sharon and Spring Alphas) will be available to ship around 3/27).

I have two cards to share with you today!!
The first features the Floral Balloon stamp set!! This set includes a large hot air balloon embellished with flowers and several sentiments!! As you can see, the balloon fills most of the card front, so you don’t need much more to create a stunning card!!
I white heat embossed the balloon and some clouds from Ocean Free onto Bristol smooth cardstock and did some watercoloring with Karin Pro Brushmarkers, then fussy cut the images.
I trimmed blue cardstock slightly smaller than A2 and lightly added some Hampton White Ink with a blending brush for some subtle clouds. The greeting, also from Floral Balloon, was white heat embossed onto the background panel. The clouds were adhered directly to the background and the balloon was popped up with foam adhesive.
My second card combines several sets from the new release…
I began by stamping all of my layering stamps: Rose of Sharon, Floral Bits, and Layered Spring Alphas!! These stamps have registration marks that make it soooo easy to line them up!! I used the following ink collections: Peony, Amethyst, Citrine, and Crystal Garden. Once all of the stamping was done, I cut the images with the Rose of Sharon, Floral Bits and Layered Spring Alpha Dies. These dies are all connected, so you don’t have to line each one up…easy peasy!! I also cut the Layered Spring Alpha Dies several more times from white cardstock.
For the background, white heat embossed the Modern Plaid Cling Background onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. I ink blended the lightest ink color in the collection with blending brushes. The floral die cuts were adhered on the left side of the panel, trimming off the excess. The stamped alphas were stacked and adhered to the white ones for dimension, before adhering them to the card. The small “Happy Birthday” sentiment is also from the Layered Spring Alphas, it was white heat embossed onto pink cardstock, cut into a strip and added with foam tape. A few sequins from the Pink Diamond Couture Mix are the finishing touch!!

These are gorgeous and I think my favorite would be the Rose of Sharon.
Wonderful cards. I love the backgrounds, especially the plaid one. My favourite from this release is the split numbers.
Your Rose of Sharon and Floral Bits is magnificent. I think those are two must haves. I love the colors that you used-what an incredible card and an incredible release.
