Thanks So Much – Honey Bee

Hello everyone!! Thanks so much for coming by to visit today!!! I have a new project for Honey Bee!!

I began by diluting Distress Oxide Inks with water onto my craft mat and “smooshing” a piece of watercolor paper into the inks until I got the results that I wanted. I sprinkled some water on top and lifted with a paper towel to create some interest. I also splattered some shimmer mist onto the background. I am always drawn to the florals in a stamp set and this was no exception. I heat embossed the flowers from the Sweet As Honey set onto white vellum. Colored pencils and a yellow gel pen were used to add some detail and dimension to the flowers, before fussy cutting each one. The Large Thanks Honey Cut Die was used to cut the sentiment from pink and white cardstock, along with vellum. The flowers and pink thanks were sprayed with shimmer mist. After deciding upon placement of the die, the ‘So Much” was stamped and heat embossed in white using the Bless Your Heart stamp set. The Thanks die cut was adhered and each flower was curled upward with my fingers before adhering with foam adhesive. As a finishing touch, a Wedding Ring Rhinestone was placed in the center of each flower.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have an amazing week!!!
