Spread Joy Not Germs Blog Hop

Hello, crafty friends!! I am super excited to be participating in the Spread Joy Not Germs Blog Hop!! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy!!

There is a ton of inspiration and lots of prizes to be won!!! Comment along the way for your chance to win one of the fantastic giveaways!!

Three companies that I design for are sponsors of the hop, so I wanted to combine products from all three on my project today!! After all, we are all in this together!! I wanted to combine florals from The Ton, Trinity Stamps and Miss Ink!!

Are you loving the slimline trend as much as I am? With a new Envelope Builder Die Set from Trinity Stamps, now you can create your own envelopes for them!! The 12″ x 12″ patterned papers that I hoard are perfect for this!! Enough about the envelope, let’s get to my card!!

I began by stamping florals from the following sets onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Detail Ink:

I colored them with Karin Promarkers, added details with colored pencils and a yellow gel pen, then fussy cut them out.

I arranged my flowers on a slimline cardbase, then die-cut a scalloped frame from white cardstock with a die included in the Slimline Series: Envelope Builder Set. The die-cut greeting is from the same set and was cut from black and white cardstock. “Friend”, from the Summer Bouquet Builder, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip. I popped up the frame, die-cut hello and sentiment strip with foam adhesive.

A few Rock Candy Confetti pieces were added for a little shine!!

I die-cut all the pieces for the envelope from pink polka-dot paper using the Envelope Builder Die Set and adhered them all together.

OK, your next stop on the hop is Teri Wilson. You can visit the Catherine Pooler Blog or the Hedgehog Hollow Blog for a complete hop list and more information.

We’ll see how many of my wish list items I can actually purchase by the time I finish the hop (I hope I can get them all, but we’ll see how much this list grows..lol). Thanks so much for sharing your inspiration and encouragement.

I’m not on the blog hop list, but I am participating as part of the Paper Sweeties DT if you’d like to stop by and see my project. Hope you’re staying safe and health.
