Spellbinders Charming Christmas Collection by Becca Feeken

Hi all!! Happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend!! Did you do anything exciting?

Spellbinders generously sent me couple of dies from the Charming Christmas Collection by Becca Feeken. The entire collection is stunning!! For my first card, I chose to work with the Shapeabilities Charming Christmas Boughs Etched Dies. I just love this elegant frame!!

I started off by die-cutting all the elements from mirror cardstock. The frame, snowflake and ornament topper were cut from gold; while both parts of the ornament were cut from red. After adhering the parts of the ornament together, I tied a strand of gold twine around the frame and ornament, finishing it with a small bow. The frame and ornament were adhered to a square of gold metallic polka-dot paper (from the Spellbinders October Card Kit), which was matted with black and red cardstock. The card was finished by white heat embossing a sentiment from The Ton’s Wonderland Print onto a black cardstock banner, which was also matted with red cardstock.

My second card uses the Shapeabilities Snowflake Toppers Etched Dies.

I stuck with the red & gold color scheme, but added kraft cardstock in this time. I cut the intricate panels from gold glitter paper. I used the rounded die to cut two pieces of kraft cardstock and scored them so that they would wrap around another panel of kraft cardstock. I backed the gold inset pieces with red cardstock. After punching a hole into the center of both pieces, I tied them together with a bow of ivory ribbon. An ornament created with the Shapeabilities Charming Christmas Boughs Etched Dies was tied on with gold metallic twine.

Thanks for stopping by today & a big thank you to Spellbinders for sending me these beautiful dies!!
