Honey Bee Stamps – Hello Summer Release Blog Hop

Hey there, friends!! Welcome to Day 2 of the Honey Bee Stamps Hello Summer Release Blog Hop!! Did you enjoy Day 1? This release is full of so much summer goodness!!

You should have arrived here from Danielle Flynn’s Blog. Be sure to hop along and leave lots of love for a chance to win a $25 GC to the Honey Bee Shop!! I have added a complete list of stops at the end of this post!

Let’s get to my projects!!

I began by stamping the gorgeous blooms from the Paradise Blooms stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring them with Copics and colored pencils, I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

I absolutely LOVE coverplate dies and these Garden Lattice Coverplates are no exception. I cut both the Top Coverplate and the Base Coverplate from white cardstock and layered them together over a white cardbase for a tone-on-tone look. I arranged the florals and adhered them with foam tape.

For the calla lily card, I white heat embossed “praying for you”, from the Paper Hugs stamp set, onto black cardstock and fussy cut it out. For the hibiscus card, “Aloha” from the Sip Sip Hooray stamp set was white heat embossed and cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cut. The sentiments were also popped up with foam tape. A few dots with a yellow gel pen adds a little interest to the centers of some of the flowers.

Your next stop is the talented Amy Tsuruta!! Here’s a complete list of stops for Day 2 of the hop:

Remember to comment along the way for a chance to win that $25 GC!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Do you have a favorite from this release? It’s all my fave…I can’t choose!!

Have a great day and happy hopping!!!
