Honey Bee 5th Anniversary Blog Hop

Hello, friends and happy Saturday!!! I hope you are all well during this uncertain time!!

If you need a little “pick-me-up”, Honey Bee Stamps is having a blog hop for their newest UnBEElievable Release celebrating 5 years in business!! This release certainly lives up to its name, as it is truly an unBEElievable release!! Melissa and her team always work hard to bring you amazing products and Honey Bee just keeps getting better and better!!! Congratulations on 5 HUGE years!!

If you arrived here from the blog of the super talented Ilda Dias, you’re on the right track. You can always start on the Honey Bee Blog.

Let’s get to my project for today!! My hubby’s birthday was last week and I chose some of these amazing products for his birthday card!! (Shhhhh…don’t tell him that I told you his age, LOL!!)

I began by ink blending a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks and Blending Brushes. I used Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet…these are my go-to colors for a rainbow background. I ran that panel through my die-cut machine with the Candle Coverplate Die and adhered it to a panel of black cardstock. This creates such a striking background!!!

Next, I die-cut the numbers using the Balloon Numbers Honey Cuts once from black glitter cardstock and three times from white cardstock. I also cut the balloon strings and bows from white cardstock. For the greeting, I used the Birthday Stamp Set and Honey Cuts. Similar to the numbers, I cut the black glitter layer once and the white outline layer three times and stacked them together. The rest of the sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock strips and popped up with foam adhesive.

A few Unicorn Rhinestones were sprinkled diagonally in rainbow order onto the background. (Even masculine cards need a little sparkle, amiright?)

Here are a couple of more cards that I created for sneak peek week on the Honey Bee Blog earlier this week.

Product used: Happy BeeDay Stamp Set, Happy BeeDay Honey Cuts, Spring Lullaby Paper Pad, Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts

Products Used: Far Out Friends Stamp Set, Far Out Friends Honey Cuts, Stellar Sentiments Stamp Set, Stellar Sentiments Honey Cuts, Deckle Edge A2 Honey Cuts

Your next stop on the hop is Jessica Frost Ballas! Be sure to comment along the way for your chance to win a $25 GC to the Honey Bee Shop!! You must leave a comment on each blog to be eligible!! The hop continues tomorrow with another stellar line-up!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I hope you love this release as much as I do!!

Have a great weekend!!!
