The first one showcases the Nutty Squirrel stamp set…

I stamped the images from Nutty Squirrel onto Bristol paper with light ink and did some no-line coloring with watercolor markers. The Coordinating Dies were used to cut out all of the images. I created a cardbase with Bristol paper, masked off a section with tape and used a Blending Buddy to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks in an ombre fashion.

I also stamped the grass stamps onto the bottom of the card with light ink and colored them with watercolor markers. The greeting was stamped under the ink blended section with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. The die-cut images were all popped up with foam adhesive. Lastly, I added a dot to the squirrel’s eye and nose with a black glaze pen and some highlights to all of the images with a white gel pen.

My second card features the Forest Friends and Sleepy Hollow stamp sets…

I LOVE how these images work together!! I made a slim-line cards so I could fit as many of these adorable images as possible!! I stamped all of the images from Sleepy Hollow and Forest Friends onto Bristol paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, colored them with watercolor markers and added details with colored pencils. I used the Sleepy Hollow and Forest Friends Coordinating Dies to cut out all of the colored images.

For the background, I used Blending Buddies to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol paper. I splattered the sky with water, diluted Perfect Pearls and diluted white gouache. Then all I had to do was create my little scene! I adhered all of the die-cuts as shown. I used a black glaze pen to add some shine to the animal’s eyes and noses, and a white gel pen to add highlights. I drew some eyelashes on the doe with a fine line marker. The greeting is from Autumn Sentiments, and was stamped at the bottom with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
