I have two cards to share with you today!! You know that I had to ink up a couple of the floral stamps first!!
The first uses the beautiful Coming Up Peonies stamp set…
I stamped the image from Coming Up Peonies with Hampton White Pigment Ink onto dark gray cardstock and colored it with colored pencils. I added some detail to the stamen of the flowers with a yellow gel pen. The sentiment is also from Coming Up Peonies and was white heat embossed onto the colored panel. One side of the panel was trimmed and it was mounted onto yellow cardstock with black fun foam. A sprinkling of Glass Slippers Round Confetti Mix completes the card.
My second card uses the Today’s Cosmos set…
I stamped all of the flowers and leaves from Today’s Cosmos onto white cardstock using Caviar Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, I fussy cut them out. A background panel was cut from watercolor paper using the largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (large). I watercolored the panel in pale colors and splattered it with diluted black paint. The sentiment, also from Today’s Cosmos, was white heat embossed onto a rectangle of black cardstock. The flowers and sentiment were arranged and popped up onto the watercolored panel with foam adhesive. Sequins from the Pink Diamond Couture Mix were the perfect finishing touch.

The dark background is amazing. It really makes the flower stand out. I have never done that.
