season to sparkle banner

Good morning, friends!! Welcome to Day 1 of a two day blog hop celebrating the Season To Sparkle Release from Honey Bee Stamps!! This is a HUGE release and full of so much good stuff!! All of the products are available in the shop NOW!!

You should have arrived here from Courtney Kreeber’s blog. You can find a complete list of stops on the Honey Bee Blog!!

I have two new projects to share today!!

My first project is very special, as it is the first stamp set designed by my teammate, Emily Midgett!! It is definitely a MUST HAVE for floral lovers, like me!! And sooooo much fun to color!!

something-wonderful-1

Isn’t it fabulous?!?! I began by stamping the Everything Wonderful stamp onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink. I did some no-line coloring with Copic markers, adding some detail with colored pencils. I cut out the image with the Coordinating Die and then cut the image so I could use it coming in from each side of my card. (So scary to cut it after spending all of that time coloring, but I managed…lol!)

something-wonderful-2

I trimmed a piece of periwinkle cardstock slightly smaller than A2 size and splattered it with diluted white gouache and black paint. I popped the floral die-cuts up with foam adhesive and trimmed off any that hung off the edge. I placed that piece at the top of my card, as I didn’t want to waste any part of this beautiful image. The greeting, also from Everything Wonderful, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut into a strip and fussy cut. The sentiment was also popped up with foam tape. Lastly, I added some Bokeh Lights Confetti for a little bit of shine!!

something-wonderful-4

I’m sure that you have seen the super cute House Builder Card Base Honey Cuts by now!! There is now a Gingerbread House Add-On stamp set and Coordinating Honey Cuts available!! I used both die sets for my next project! There are so many variations and options with these adorable products!!

Red-Cottage-5

I used a combination of the House Builder Card Base and Gingerbread House Add-On Dies for this card!! I die-cut all of the elements from red, grey & white cardstock, brick paper from the Home Essentials Paper Pack, gingham paper from the Holiday Traditions Paper Pad and Frosted Silver Mirror Cardstock.

Red-Cottage-6

I adhered it together as shown, popping up the bottom of the roof, dormers, fence and snowbanks with foam adhesive for lots of dimension. White Blizzard Glitter Nuvo Drops add lots of sparkle and dimension to all of the snow.

This look like a house that I would LOVE to live in…minus the snow. Lol!!

Here are three more projects that were shared on the Honey Bee Blog for sneak week…

These cute tags feature the Santa Express stamp set with the Scallop Circle Honey Cuts and Scallop Square Honey Cuts

Santa-Tags-2

For this card, I used the Joy Noel Honey Cuts, patterned paper from the Holiday Traditons Paper Pad and the Polka Dot Background Stencils (to emboss the black cardstock)…

  10. Emily’s design is a MUST HAVE for sure and I love the blue winter card with the snowflakes so will buy those dies for sure too. I love the house as well but I don’t feel so confident that I’d do a great job with that one so will hold off on that one for now. Brenda, as always my talented friend, your cards are SOO beautiful, just like you are. Sincerely.
