Waffle Flower January 2023 Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Waffle Flower January Release Blog Hop! I’m honored to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies! The details and the next stop on the hop are below, following my projects!!

I have two cards to share with you today!! The first features the Little Birdie and Little Branches Die Sets, Little Birdie Sentiments and the Flourish Panel Die!!

I die-cut all of the pieces for the bird from white cardstock using the Little Birdie Die Set and added some color with Copic markers. I adhered the wing to the body with liquid adhesive and popped up the top of the wing with foam tape.

The Flourish Panel Die was cut from light aqua cardstock and adhered over the same light aqua cardstock for a tone-on-tone effect.

The wreath was formed by die-cutting one of the Little Branches Dies from sage cardstock and adhering them in a circle. The sentiment, from the Little Birdie Sentiments Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto the same sage cardstock and trimmed into a rectangle. The bird and sentiment were both adhered with foam tape. I added some pearls to the wreath to finish it off.

My second card features the Little Gift Box Die, Little Branches Dies and the Flourish Panel Die (I can’t get enough of this one!), along with the previously released Designer Template 1 Die Set!!

The Little Gift Box was die-cut from white and pink cardstock and the sentiment from the Little Birdie Sentiments was stamped onto it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. The Little Branches Dies were cut from sage, pink and white cardstock. I trimmed the flower portion of the white die-cuts and adhered them to the sage branches, then adhered the smaller pink flowers on top.

The background was once again created with the Flourish Panel Die. It was cut from white cardstock and adhered to a white card base.

The tag, from the Designer Template 1 Die Set, was cut from pink cardstock. I tied a pink gingham bow at the top and adhered it to the front of the card with foam tape. The box, branches and flowers were adhered to the tag with liquid glue and this card was finished.
