You Warm My Heart – Honey Bee

Hi guys!! Welcome back to Honey Bee Tuesday!!!

Today I have a perfect solution for gift card giving!! This one is geared toward the upcoming holidays, but it could be modified for any season and any occasion!!

I began by using the largest die from the Coffee Gift Card Holder Honey Cut to die cut the main coffee cup shape from heavy weight red cardstock. I cut the sleeve from some craft polka-dot paper and the lid from some white cardstock. I thought the “You Warm My Heart” sentiment from the Let It Snow set was perfect for the coffee cup, so I stamped that toward the bottom of the cup with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I randomly stamped some snowflakes from the same set and also white heat embossed those. I stamped the snowman from the Let It Snow set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copic markers, before die-cutting with the Coordinating Honey Cut Die. I adhered the snowman to the coffee sleeve only, so it would slide off when the sleeve is removed. I stamped a single heart from the Busy Bee stamp set, Die-cut with the Coordinating Honey Cut Die, colored with Copic markers, Clear Wink of Stella and coated with Morning Dew Nuvo Drops. The heart was then popped onto some foam adhesive onto the sleeve also. I didn’t have a gift card to a coffee shop, but was delighted to find a Crate and Barrel gift card from my stash that matched perfectly!!! (I really need to use that soon…lol!!!)

I LOVE the way this turned out!! So much so, that I am working on a fall themed one for next week!!

How cute would this be with a small eyelet (come on…I know you still have some in your stash, or am I the only one?) set in the left corner with some twine to make an ornament to adorn the tree?

Thanks for stopping by today!! Enjoy the rest of your week!!
