I have two cards to share with you today!! The first one is a shaker card using the City Girls: Spring Smiles stamp set…

Live-Life-In-Full-Bloom-1

I just love this set, don’t you? So perfect for spring!! I began by stamping the girl and the flowers from the City Girls: Spring Smiles stamp set with Caviar Ink onto a panel of white cardstock. I also stamped several of each of the single flowers onto another piece of cardstock. I colored all of the images with Copic markers and then fussy cut the single flowers. (Yes, this took some time, but once I have an idea in my head…) I used two of the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lg) to create a frame from yellow cardstock for my shaker. I stamped the sentiment, also included in the City Girls: Spring Smiles set, onto the frame with Caviar Ink. The fussy cut flowers and some Glass Slipper Round Confetti Mix create the shaker portion of my card.

The second card showcases the Mini Bud. (Free with a $50 purchase*.) This is such a cute little flower!! I decided to create a background with it.

I stamped the Mini Bud several times onto Bristol paper with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I colored the entire background with Zig Clean Color Markers and die-cut it with the largest Double Stitched Rectangle Die (Sm),once it was dry. The panel was adhered to an A2 size royal blue cardstock panel. “Hugs”, from the Love & Hugs Word Plate Dies, was die-cut from the same royal cardstock. “Sending” is from the Peony Laurel stamp set. It was heat embossed with Rose Gold Embossing Powder onto a strip of royal cardstock. A few sequins from the Rose Champagne Sparkle and Guava Sparkle complete the card.
