The Ton’s 3rd Anniversary Release – Day 1

Hello everyone!! I have been working on some exciting things lately, and finally get to share them this week!! The Ton is celebrating its Three Year Anniversary with an amazing release and a huge blog hop that lasts for several days!! Congratulations to Effie on this wonderful achievement!!!

Make sure you join us for the next several days!! The new release contains beautiful floral stamps & dies that The Ton is known for, some innovative layering stamps, as well as awesome word dies. All products will be available for purchase on Thursday, January 18th!!!

For the first project I have to share with you today, I used the stunning Riotous Wildflowers 6X6 Clear Stamp:

This image is so much fun to color!! On to my project…I don’t know about you, but every time a get one of these beautiful 6X6 stamps, I can’t bear to cut any of it away!! So, I made a square card, so I didn’t have to!! I stamped the Riotous Wildflowers stamp with Versamark Ink, then embossed with white embossing powder. I colored the image with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a waterbrush. I trimmed each side down a bit and adhered the panel onto a pink cardstock panel that was slightly larger. Silver Glitter Tape was placed down each side of the cardbase before adhering the watercolored panel on top. The sentiment, from Summer Blooms, was stamped with Hampton White Pigment Ink and also heat embossed in white. The sentiment was cut into a thin banner and adhered with foam adhesive over another strip of Silver Glitter Tape. A sprinkling of Glass Slippers Round Confetti Mix framed the sentiment perfectly!!

The second card I have to share was really difficult to photograph. I used one of my favorite stamps from this release…Coming Up Daisies.

I stamped the floral image from Coming Up Daisies onto a panel of black cardstock with Hampton White Pigment Ink, then colored with Polychromos colored pencils. The largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle Die (Small) was used to create a frame around the panel. The sentiment, from Peony Notes C (a free gift with purchase), was also stamped with Hampton White Pigment Ink, before embossing with white embossing powder. The outer frame was adhered flat to the card base, while the center was popped onto some yellow fun foam for an unexpected pop of color from the side. Sequins from two new mixes, Lilac Blossom & Mint Sugar, complete the card.
