Swimming by to Say Happy Birthday – Honey Bee

Hello everyone!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!!

It’s Tuesday & that means it’s time for another project for Honey Bee Stamps!! I have used several products from the newest release!!

I began by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto several panels of Bristol cardstock. The Cloud Borders Honey Cuts were used to cut several layers from the ink blended cardstock and I used Stickles to outline the wavy edge. The mermaid and turtle from the Swimming By set were stamped onto Neenah cardstock with Versafine Black Ink and colored with Zig Clean Color Markers, before fussy cutting. There are also coordinating dies available. I blended some watered down Distress Inks onto some Bristol cardstock and die-cut with the Happy Honey Cuts once it was dry, also cutting the middle die from white cardstock. Then it was time to assemble all the pieces. I flipped the cloud die-cuts upside down and adhered them to the card base. After figuring out the placement, the sentiment was stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with Nuvo Glacier White Embossing Powder. All the other images were adhered to the panel, then the bubbles from the Swimming By set were heat embossed with clear embossing powder, before filling with the same stickles used on the edges of the waves…adding a few here and there where needed.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! Be sure to head over to Honey Bee Stamps to check out the rest of their new release!! Have a fantastic week!!!
