Sending Sunshine on a Cloudy Day – Honey Bee

Hello everyone & welcome back for Honey Bee Tuesday!!!

My heart is heavy for everyone experiencing the hurricanes, wildfires & earthquakes lately. So many horrible things going on right now. Even if you haven’t experienced any of these tragedies, sometimes you just need some sunshine on a cloudy day…

I started out by using the Sunburst A2 Cover Plate Honey Cut with some gold glittered paper. I placed the sunshine onto the upper corner of a panel of blue cardstock. I die-cut the clouds from Cloud Borders Honey Cuts and placed along the bottom of the panel. The “Sending” from the Sending Sunshine set was white heat embossed directly onto the blue panel. The “On A Cloudy Day” is also from Sending Sunshine and was stamped onto the top border cloud in black ink. This stamp and die set was created especially for the Ellen Hutson “United We Flourish” event & is so fabulous!! I used the die from the Ray of Sunshine Honey Cuts to die-cut the “Sunshine” from the gold glitter paper & vellum. The Partly Cloudy dies were used to cut clouds from white cardstock and adhered over the sunshine. I used a bee from one of the Free Bees that was included in one of my orders to stamp onto the glitter paper with StazOn Ink and cut with the coordinating die. The panel was backed with gold glitter paper and adhered to a white card base. Clear Bubbles Sequin Mix added even more sparkle!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope if you are having a cloudy day, that this provides a ray of sunshine!!!
