Season’s Tweetings – Honey Bee

Hello crafters & welcome back to Honey Bee Tuesday!!!

Have you been enjoying all the projects created with the New Release? All the products will be available for purchase at 11 pm PST tonight!!! Is this release adorable or what?? The little birdies are so sweet…or should I say tweet…lol!! When I first saw the set, the birds reminded me of Tweety…the Looney Tunes bird. So, I HAD to color them yellow…ha!!!I began by blending alcohol inks onto Yupo paper for the background. I sat that aside to dry, then stamped the little birdies from the Season’s Tweetings set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored those with Copic markers and then fussy cut the bodies. I used a Momento black marker around the outside edges, to hide the white core of the paper. I free-hand drew a tree branch and colored it with Copics also. Once the alcohol inked panel was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. The birds were adhered with foam adhesive toward the bottom of the card. I drew in the legs on the background panel with the black marker. I then popped the branch up with foam adhesive and drew the birds’ feet directly onto the branch. I used the Snowfall Shaker Bits all over the card front, to look like falling snow.

Well, that’s it for me today!! Thanks for flying by!!!
