Seasonal Sweeties – Honey Bee

Welcome back to Fall Release Week at Honey Bee Stamps!! Today I have a preview of the cutie-patootie stamp set Seasonal Sweeties!!!

See what I mean??

I began by stamping the cute girl image onto a panel of cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloring with Copic markers. I masked the image and used Distress Oxide Inks for the grass. I die cut some clouds from Cloud Borders Honey Cuts and used them as a stencil with Distress Oxide Inks to create the clouds. I splattered water and picked up some of the color with a paper towel. After that was dry, I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Distress Oxide Ink was used to stamp the raindrops onto the panel. Next, I removed the masks and went over the grass with Copic markers. I used a Wink of Stella Clear Pen to add some sparkle to the raindrops. Partly Cloudy Honey Cuts were used to cut the clouds, then they were popped onto foam adhesive, for some dimension. I shadowed the sentiment with a red Tombow marker, then cut the panel with the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle Frames Honey Cuts. The panel was adhered onto some fun foam and then the card base made of gray cardstock. Finally, a white gel pen was used to add some detail to the eyes, scarf and small umbrella.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure you head over to the Honey Bee Blog for more inspiration and check back on Friday for a Blog Hop. All of the products we have featured all week will also be available for purchase on Friday!!!
