May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

Hello everyone!! I LOVE combining elements from different manufacturers on cards!!!!!! I have a traditional colored holiday card to share with you today…I began by stamping the Holly Branch from The Ton several times on white cardstock with their Bright Fern, Coral Cavern & Valentine inks. I stamped the branch & the veins in the holly leaves with Versamark & heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The Holly Branch Coordinating Die was then used to cut out the images. I also used the die with an embossing pad to emboss the outline onto red cardstock. The die-cuts were adhered onto the red panel and the elements hanging off the edge were trimmed flush, before matting onto green cardstock and adhering to a top-folding note card. The sentiment is from the WPlus9 Be Merry set. It was embossed with gold embossing powder before cutting with the Coordinating Die. I also colored the open part of Merry with a red Tombow marker. I added some sparkle to each of the berries with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen and then covered with some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for dimension. Lastly, I used small confetti dots from the Occasion Confetti set with some Tsukeneko Galaxy Gold Ink to fill in the spaces on the background.

Thanks for hanging out with me for a bit today!! Have a delightful day!!
