Lily Slimline Card – Honey Bee

Happy Tuesday, my friends!! I hope you are having a great week!!

I have had several friends and family members going through difficult times lately and I thought the Lovely Layers: Easter Lily Dies from Honey Bee Stamps would be the perfect image to include on a card to let them know that they are in my thoughts!!

I absolutely LOVE the dimension from all of these layers!!

I began by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Easter Lily Honey Cuts from white cardstock several times. I used colored pencils to color the petals on the lilies and Copic markers for the stamen and leaves. I adhered all of the layers together with Bee Creative Precision Glue, adhering the two bottom layers of the larger flowers together only in the center to allow the petals to pop up and move around.

For the background, I die-cut the Basketweave Slimline Cover Plate Die from black cardstock and adhered it to a white slimline cardbase. I adhered the palm leaves and blooms, as shown.

The sentiment, from Old Rugged Cross, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cut. I popped it up with foam adhesive.

Just look at all of that amazing texture and dimension!!! I can’t wait to pop this one in the mail!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!!
