Hi Crafty Friends!!

The Honey Bee Stamps Fall Release has been happening all week & the fantastic fall products are now available in the Honey Bee Shop!!! To celebrate the new release, we are having the Happy Fall Y’all Blog Hop. So grab your cup of Pumpkin Spice Latte, or whatever cozy drink you love and hop along with us to get you in the fall frame of mind! I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this hop!! I am the second stop on the hop, after Amy. Next up is Carly. There is a complete list with links below, if you happen to lose your way…Be sure to visit each blog & leave a comment, you don’t want to miss out on any of the fun prizes!!! We will be giving away TWO $50 gift cards to the Honey Bee Stamps store. Winners will be posted on our blog Monday, September 25th.

My first card is a shaker card featuring the adorable Bushel And A Peck set. Such a cute set & so appropriate for this time of year!! Apple picking in the fall!!

I began my stamping all the images from the set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I added some additional details with colored pencils. I fussy cut all the images right up to the black line and used a Momento Tuxedo Blacker marker around the edge, to get rid on the white core…it really makes such a difference in making everything look “finished”. I ink blended Distress Oxide Inks onto the background, spritzed with water and picked up some of the color with a paper towel. The largest die of the A2 Double Stitched Frames was used to cut a frame for the shaker. I combined some of the fussy cut leaves with some Clear Bubbles, for the “shaker” elements. The sentiment is perfectly sized to fit inside the top rim of the basket and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The apples and basket were adhered as shown, using foam tape in places for added dimension. I loved coloring this set and can’t wait to make another card with it!!!

I love finding other ways to use my stamp sets…concentrating on part of the image, in order to stretch my stamps. I thought the umbrella from the Seasonal Sweeties set was so cute and perfect for creating a baby shower card.
The image was stamped several times onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Copic markers to color the umbrellas, then fussy cut them out. I used my homemade stencil (made with the Cloud Borders Honey Cut Dies) and some Distress Oxide Ink to create some clouds on the background panel, before cutting with the A2 Double Stitched Frames. After deciding where each umbrella top would be placed, I used a ruler and black marker to continue the stem and handle right onto the background panel. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The umbrellas were then mounted with foam adhesive onto the background panel. This turned out even better than I had pictured it in my mind. I encourage you to look at each element in your sets, to see how they can be used in different ways!!!
Here is the complete blog hop list, as promised…

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!! Be sure to keep hopping for some amazing inspiration from the rest of the team!!!
