Brie-Mine-Blog-Hop-1

I had so much fun with these products that I had to make two cards!!

To start I stamped Mae, the cheese and heart from the Mae the Mouse stamp set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink onto white cardstock. After coloring them with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. The heart and cheese wedge tuck nicely into Maes’s arms.  I cut a heart from white cardstock using one of the hearts from the Stacking Hearts Honey Cuts. I used a blending brush with Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress Oxide Inks to add color to the die-cut heart. I used the Polka Dot Background Stencils to draw circles for my “cheese” with a Copic Multi Liner and colored them in with Copics. Next, I cut two scalloped hearts from pink & and one from white cardstock with the Scallop Heart Honey Cuts and adhered three of the hearts together as shown. I scored the top of one of the pink hearts and adhered it to the back of the other one above the score line to create a hinge. The sentiment, from Brie Mine was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, cut into strips and with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. I used a pink marker to add some color to the sentiment strips and die-cuts. I adhered Mae and my sentiment with foam adhesive for added dimension. A Black Glaze Pen and a White Gel Pen add some detail to the eyes, as does the Glossy Accents on his nose. A generous sprinkling of Hug Me Clay Hearts add a little more pink and interest to the background.
