Honey Bee & Hero Arts Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Honey Bee & Hero Arts Collaboration Blog Hop!! Honey Bee and Hero Arts have joined forces to create the You Are Amazing stamp set!!! This set is full of uplifting and inspiring sentiments that we all need right now!!

We are celebrating with a HUGE blog hop!! There is a $50 GC to both Hero Arts and Honey Bee up for grabs!! The more you comment, the better your chances of winning!!

You should have arrived here from the super talented Bobbi Lemanski’s Blog!! I also have a complete list of stops below.

I have two cards to share with you!! I love the strong graphic nature of this set!!

For my first card, I white heat embossed the image and sentiment from You Are Amazing onto black cardstock and fussy cut them out. I used Ranger Pearl Alcohol Inks on Yupo paper for the background.

I stamped the hearts with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers to match the alcohol ink colors, then fussy cut those, too.

All of the elements were popped up onto the background panel with foam adhesive.

Here’s my second card…

For this one, I stamped the heart image and “YOU ROCK” sentiment from You Are Amazing onto white cardstock with Versafine onyx Black Ink and clear heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment into a strip and fussy cut the heart.

I stamped the “Believe in yourself like I believe in you” and the solid heart in rainbow colors of Distress Oxide Ink onto white cardstock. The heart and sentiment were adhered with foam tape.

Rainbow Gem Stickers were the perfect addition for more rainbow goodness!!

The next stop on the hop is my sweet friend, Carol Hintermeier. Here is a complete list of stops…

I’m not that great with alcohol inks but I think the fact that it’s pearlescent has something to do with it. I really love that first card a lil more than the second but they are beautifully well made Brenda. As usual I rarely do blog hops but I still try to support you on your blog every now and then. You’re really one of my favourite cardmakers Brenda. Thanks for being so kind to me too. Sincerely. Amanda
