Have A Lovely Day – Honey Bee

Hi all!! Welcome!! It is Honey Bee Tuesday!! I LOVE purple, pinks, blues & yellows for florals, so this card created with autumnal colors was different for me. Here is the card I have for you today…I stared by die-cutting an oval to create a mask.. The oval was temporarily adhered to a white panel, while I used Distress Oxide Inks to do some ink blending around the oval. I splattered some water and picked up some of the ink to create more interest. The Country Blooms set was stamped onto Bristol cardstock and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I proceeded to color the flowers in Fall colors with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, before fussy cutting them. I used the markers mixed with a small amount of water to splatter the background, once the mask was removed. I combined stamps from Happy Everything and Bless Your Heart for the sentiment, which was also heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I also edged a white panel with gold embossing powder. The fussy cut flowers were all attached with dimensional foam. Wedding Ring Rhinestones were the finishing touch. I am happy with how this turned out!! It was good to step out of my comfort zone!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!!
