Have A Fabulous Christmas

Hello everyone!! I can’t even believe Christmas is only 9 1/2 weeks away…eeeekkkk!! Well, The Ton has some fabulous products to make creating your Christmas cards even easier. Today, I created a scene with two stunningly dressed women heading off to holiday parties.I used the City Girls: Winter Edition for this entire card. I did have to create some masks, but they were really easy to cut out. I started by stamping the girl farthest from us (the entire card was stamped with Caviar Ink). I placed the mask over her, then stamped the trees in the background. I didn’t have a tree that was the correct size that I wanted, so I selectively inked the tree from one of the girls pulling the tree behind her and stamped only the tree. The trees were masked, then the buildings were stamped. I used a ruler to draw in the missing sidewalks between the buildings. After stamping the girl toward the bottom of the card and the sentiment, I used a ruler to draw in the closer sidewalk. After coloring the entire image with Copic markers, I used a white & yellow gel pen to add in some additional details…candles in the windows, lights on the trees and polka dots on the gifts. The largest die from the Double Stitched Rectangle Die was used to cut the panel, before adhering to a top-folding card base.

Thanks so much for spending a little time with me today…I hope you are inspired to get started on those holiday cards!!
