Happy Fall – Honey Bee

Hello everyone!! Welcome back to Honey Bee Tuesday!!! It is really starting to feel like Fall here!! I had so much fun making the winter gift card holder last week, that I decided to make a Fall one this week!!

This die is sooooo stinkin’ cool!! I started by using the Coffee Gift Card Holder Honey Cut Die to cut the base and sleeve from heavy weight white cardstock; then the lid from black cardstock.  I used Distress Oxide Inks and the Fall Leaves Stencil from the Fall Showers Stencil Set on the card base, then splattered it with some Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink mixed with water. The “Fall” on sleeve is from Happy Fall Y’all, and the “Happy” is from Happy Everything…both stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The sunflower is also from Happy Fall Y’all and the bee is a Free Bee (& die) that is free with a $75 qualifying purchase. Both were stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic markers. I used a red Tombow marker to add a little color to the sentiment. After fussy cutting the  sunflower and die-cutting the bee, they were adhered to the sleeve with foam adhesive. Some sequins from the Indian Summer mix were also adhered to the sleeve. I used a stylus with Brilliance Galaxy Gold Ink to add small polka-dots onto the sleeve. That’s it!! Easy peasy!!

I know I will definitely get my money’s worth from this die!!!

Thanks for spending some time with me today!!! Enjoy the rest of your week!!!
