Ellen Hutson Pin Sights Challenge

I was so Inspired by the  mood board created by Laurel Beard for the Ellen Hutson Pin Sights Challenge…I knew right away I needed to make a card!!

I used the Mondo Peony Set from Essentials by Ellen created by Julie Ebersole…one of my favorites to color…in the history of ever!!! The image was white heat embossed (with some masking) onto Bristol paper & colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I used the stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp, sentiment from The Ton Always Cherry Blossom set, stamped with the Ton’s Soft Amethyst Ink. A sprinkling of The Ton’s Glass Slipper Confetti Mix finished off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!! My husband is taking me to dinner for our 20 year anniversary…I also just had 20 roses delivered to me!! I think he’s a keeper!!!

  1. I am obsessed with this gorgeous card! I saw it on Instagram and had to find your blog to get a closer look. Did you watercolor with the markers? It is so soft and ethereal! I almost thought you had vellum over colored stamping. Just lovely!

    1. Hi Erin!! Thank you so much!! Yes, I used the watercolor markers directly to the paper & blended with a waterbrush. I used some new to me colors, which are very light…Sugared Almond Pink, English Lavender, Green Shadow & Haze Blue. Hope this helps!!!
