Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Cheer Release Blog Hop

Hello, friends!! Welcome to the Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Cheer Release Blog Hop!!

There is tons of inspiration using the new Holiday Cheer Release on today’s hop AND Honey Bee has generously offered a $100 GC for one lucky winner!!! So make sure you comment along the way to increase your chances of winning!!!

If you arrived here from Emily’s blog, you’re on the right track!! I also included a complete list of stops below!!

Let’s get to my project for today!!

I began by die-cutting the pinecones and boughs from the Lovely Layers: Pinecone Honey Cuts from brown and green cardstock. I dry brushed the die-cuts with white paint and a stiff bristled paintbrush. Once the paint was dry, I swiped the die-cuts over a Versamark Ink Pad and added some white sparkle embossing powder to resemble snow and add a little sparkle. The bow was die-cut from some red glitter cardstock and assembled.

For the background, I die-cut the Burlap A2 Coverplate Die from kraft cardstock three times, stacked and adhered them together. I also dry-brushed the top layer with white paint. Once dry, it was adhered to a panel of patterned paper from the Farm Fresh Holiday Paper Pad. The pinecones, boughs and bow were arranged and adhered with Bee Creative Precision Tip Glue, curling up the end of each die-cut for dimension and texture.

The sentiment was cut from red glitter cardstock and white cardstock with the Merry Buzzwords Honey Cuts. Christmas, from the Merry stamp set, was stamped with red ink onto a white cardstock strip. This was popped up onto foam adhesive toward the bottom of the card.

I really love how this turned out!! The Lovely Layers: Pinecone Dies and Burlap A2 Coverplate Honey Cuts make it so easy to create amazing dimension and texture!!!!
