The Ton Fall 2020 Release – Day 2

Hello, crafty friends and welcome back to Day 2 of the Ton’s Fall 2020 Release!! We are celebrating this HUGE release with another fun and inspirational blog hop!! If you arrived here from Tae-Eun’s Blog, you’re on the right track! I also have a complete list of stops below!

I have a Christmas card to share with you featuring a few new layering stamp sets!!

I began by stamping the Poinsettia Wishes, Berry Bits, Winter Foliage and Pine Cones stamp sets. I used the following inks: Soft Garnet, Red Sangria, Lipstick Red, Soft Garden, Bright Fern, Deep Emerald, Warm Hazelnut, Aspen Cocoa and Dark Roast. Once all of the stamping was done, I die-cut the images with the Poinsettia Wishes, Berry Bits, Winter Foliage and Pine Cones Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I stamped the Holiday Border Cling Background Stamp onto white cardstock with Lipstick Red Ink. All of the die-cuts were arranged and adhered to the background with foam adhesive. I splattered on some diluted white gouache with a paint brush to mimic snow.

The greeting was die-cut from red and white cardstock using the Many Sentiments (Holiday) Coverplate Dies. It was adhered with a combination of liquid and foam tape. I added some Gold Stickles to the center of the poinsettias and Medallion Gold Sequins for the finishing touch!!

OK…let’s get to the hop details so you can see the amazing projects from the rest of the design team!!

I’m the last stop on the hop, so if you started here, head on over to The Ton’s Blog to start at the beginning!!

All products will be available to ship on 8/21.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!!! Have a great day!!!

  1. What a beautiful card! I like the way you’ve tied the background (poinsettias) to the focal images. And the spatters are so artsy – looks like snow.
