The Ton Fall 2020 Release – Day 1

Hello, friends and welcome to Day 1 of the Ton’s Fall 2020 Release!! We are celebrating this HUGE release with a fun and inspirational blog hop!! You should have arrived here from the super talented Tae-Eun’s Blog. I also have a complete list of stops below!

Today is all about beautiful florals, pumpkins and fall vibes!! There is a morning chill in the air and I’m started to get excited for autumn temperatures!!

(Links for new products will be live tomorrow.)

I have two cards to share today!! Both feature some new stunning layering designs with beautiful Couture Inks!! Let’s get started!!

The first one features some new pumpkin stamp sets…

I began by stamping these incredible pumpkins!! The Round Pumpkins were stamped with Amber Citrine, Coralline, Coral Cavern & Aspen Cocoa, then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The Ella Pumpkin was stamped with Blue Diamond, Caribbean Turquoise, Hot Tourmaline & Found Topaz, and die-cut with the Coordinating Dies. The Thankful Gourds stamp set was stamped with Soft Garden and Bright Fern Inks, then those were also cut out with the Coordinating Dies.

The greeting, from the Fill It In Holiday stamp set, was stamped onto a white cardbase with Coralline and Hot Tourmaline Inks. The leaves, tendrils and round pumpkins were adhered at the bottom of the cardbase with liquid adhesive. The Ella pumpkin was popped up with foam adhesive. I trimmed the excess off the edges and this one was finished!!

My next card showcases a gorgeous new rose stamp set. Since I was in a fall mood, I decided to use autumnal-ish colors for this one too!

I began by stamping the roses in the Rose Labels stamp set with Couture Inks. For the purple one, I used Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms and Violet Fringe. The plum ones were stamped with Orchid Crush, Plum Wine and Grape Crush. This was a new color combo for me and I fell IN LOVE with it! The orange ones were stamped with Amber Citrine, Coralline and Coral Cavern. Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Deep Emerald Inks were used on the leaves and stems. After all of my stamping was done, I cut them all out with the Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I die-cut 2 layers from the Diamond Plate Layering Coverplate Dies and layered them onto a white cardbase. I can tell you now…these dies are going to get TONS of use from me…so many different options!! I arranged my floral bouquet, picked it up with Press “N Seal, then added it to the background with foam tape.

I wanted the greeting to match the plum rose, but I didn’t have any cardstock to match. So, I swiped the Plum Wine ink pad over white cardstock to create my own and it matches perfectly!! I die-cut one of the Script Word Dies (another die set that you will see me use A LOT) from that plum and white cardstock and popped it up with more foam tape.

I really love how this one turned out!!

OK…let’s get to the hop details!!

I’m the last stop on the hop, so if you started here, head on over to The Ton’s Blog to start at the beginning!!

All products will be available to ship on 8/21.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!!! Have a great Wednesday and I’ll see you tomorrow for Day 2 of the new release blog hop!!
